About Mac
Mac comes to Smith and Associates after enjoying thirty-nine years in education. He recently retired from the Canterbury School of Florida in St. Petersburg where he served as Head of School for seventeen years.
Mac, his wife, Marsha, and three children have lived in Gainesville, Oviedo and moved to St. Petersburg in 2005. The entire family quickly fell in love with St. Pete and the Tampa Bay area. They loved it so much that now all the children are living and working in the area, and Mac and Marsha are enjoying time with their five grandchildren.
One aspect that Mac has always enjoyed while working in education is helping people. Whether it’s advising a faculty or staff member or assisting families with certain needs, Mac finds this as one of his greatest strengths. Now as he begins his new adventure, Mac looks forward to assisting families with their real estate needs.
Mac and his family enjoy all that the Tampa Bay area offers, especially the local sport teams. You may find Mac occasionally playing a round of golf, but don’t look to close. It’s still a work in progress.
